My Solution to Dry Winter Skin

My Solution to Dry Winter Skin

*This is not a sponsored post. I just love the products and wanted to share.

So the other day, I realized that I have several Vaseline
® products that I use on a daily basis. Not only are they all Vaseline® brand, they are all cocoa butter flavored. {is it called a flavor when you don’t eat it? I guess it could be a scent}. Anyway, I really love this stuff.

This winter has been really tough on my skin. More so than usual. I don’t know if it is just because this year has been a harsher winter than usual, or what.

When I discovered the total moisture™ lotion, I was looking for something rejuvenating. Something with a little more substance than the typical lotion. Vaseline®’s Total Moisture™ line focus’s on keeping skin healthy. There are three varieties of the Total Moisture™ line; aloe fresh, total moisture™, and cocoa radiant™. What appealed to me about the Cocoa Radiant™ was promise of glowing skin. It’s winter and my skin is pretty pasty white right now so I need all the help I can get. I use this all over my body whenever I get out of the shower and on my hands any time I need it.

I use the petroleum jelly mostly on my feet. I get really bad dry spots on the top of my big toes when I wear shoes for too long. I put quite a bit of this stuff right on those spots and on the balls and heels of me feet and put socks on over it to sleep in. When I wake up, my feet are as soft as a baby’s bottom. Ok, maybe not that soft, but I can see a major difference. I also use this stuff on my elbows, knees and wrists when they get bad.

And last, but certainly not least, is Vaseline® Lip Therapy®! You guys, this stuff is amazing! I read about this stuff somewhere on the internet a month or so ago, but I honestly don’t remember where. After reading about it though, I knew I had to try it. I found it at Kroger with the lip balms near the pharmacy and I am so glad I did. This stuff is like heaven on my lips. I keep this one on my desk and I bought another thing of it in Rosy Lips {instead of Cocoa Butter} to keep in my purse so I could still have the lip therapy® but also have a little color when I am going somewhere. Y’all this stuff is amazing. I can’t praise it enough. And that is coming from someone who has to have a tube of lip balm in every room of the house, in her car, and in her purse at all times.

What are some of your favorite skin care products? Any other Vaseline® users out there?
By the way, I’m guest posting today over here on Jess’s blog. Go check it out!
Also, happy 21st birthday to my little brother who I can’t believe turns 21 today!
