If your spouse’s primary love language is Words of Affirmation, he or she will love these short and sweet love notes! Leave them on sticky notes around the house or text them to your partner throughout the week.

If you aren’t familiar with The Five Love Languages, you can check out my Love Languages category on the blog. In short, there are five different languages of love that each of us speak: Quality Time, Acts of Service, Words of Affirmation, Physical Touch, and Receiving Gifts.

Words of Affirmation is currently at the very top of my husband’s love language list with a whopping nine points. On my list, it’s third with five points so it doesn’t really come that easily to me.

But one of my favorite ways to speak Words of Affirmation to my husband though is to write little love notes for him and leave them places where he can find them throughout the day. Love notes don’t have to be long and elaborate. Sometimes all they need is an unexpected sticky note to make their day.

So today I’m sharing some of the short phrases I like to use on those notes!

Most of these ideas can also be used as love notes for her, your wife! It’s not just for husbands! So let’s get to these examples, shall we?
