Reading Roundup December {2018}

Reading Roundup December {2018}

So this month was just as busy as last month if not more. So I didn’t finish any books. Even though I started reading several. But I did finish one audio book for book club!

The Christmas Train by David Baldacci

So The Hallmark Channel made a movie out of this book for Christmas this year. That right there should tell you a lot. It was kind of a light and fluffy read. And the fact that I listened to it made it even lighter.

My book club read this book for December right after reading Murder on the Orient Express in November. So it was quite a big change. But when we discussed this book, we actually found quite a few parallels between the two books.

I will also say, if you read the book, you will be very disappointed in the movie. I didn’t watch the movie but everybody at book club said it was terrible. The casting was wrong, they left out some important parts, and they really emphasized the cheesy parts and made them even more cheesy.

But I do recommend the book! There were several times I didn’t want to get out of the car because Iw as listening.
