This weekend, Pearson and I are flying to Memphis to go to 2 wedding showers for our good friends. Thanks to airplanes and my grandpa being a retired Delta pilot, we are going to fly into Memphis Saturday Morning and fly home Sunday night. It will be a short, inexpensive trip and it makes being there for Ashley and Taylor possible. I am so grateful for that!

I am very excited first of all because I get to see my best friend for the first time since my wedding. Second of all because I haven’t been able to be there for her very much since she got engaged so I finally get to be a part of it. And lastly because I haven’t stayed overnight with a bunch of girls since I graduated from Harding over a year ago. I am so excited!

So this week I am very thankful for airplanes and other means of transportation that make our life today so easy. And I am thankful for my grandpa who did his time at Delta and now his family reaps the benefits. Thanks, Pepaw, for letting us use your retired pilot privileges!
