What I Learned in September

What I Learned in September

Well, here we are. On the last day of September.

Can you believe it? There are less than 3 months till Christmas! But that also means there are less than 3 months till winter… But let’s not dwell on that, okay? Instead, lets take a look at what I learned this month!

God/Christianity:
This month I learned how to give thanks in all circumstances. I also learned that a lot of people, including me, don’t treat their religion like a religion.

While reading through Acts with Good Morning Girls, I learned that the reason Ananias and Sapphira died was not simply because they lied. It was rather because they were hypocrites without a changed heart. They were examples of phony Christians and other new Christians learned a lesson through them.

Pearson:
From Pearson’s answers in this month’s Guys Behind the Blog post, I learned that his dream job is a college football coach! I was kinda surprised at first that he would rather be a coach than a player, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. He loves the game and knows so much about it. Maybe playing would be too difficult on his body. Also, I think he likes college football more than pro football and being a college player is not technically a job.

Myself:
I’ve learned that I love makeup! I’m developing a love for trying new products and looks. It might not be so good for my checkbook. I also learned that I buy more stuff from Zulily in the fall than any other time of the year! They have great fall clothes, Halloween products of all kinds, and Christmas gift ideas! I also re-learned that I really miss football in the off season. That is all.

Blogging:
I attended Helene’s free webinar, Get Paid to Blog at the beginning of the month and I learned a lot! I learned that I and my blog have worth because I am unique. I learned that it’s okay to reach out to companies and ask to work with them. I learned Helene’s biggest money makers. Basically, I learned a lot but I’m not going to share too much because you should totally sign up for when she does the webinar again.

Also, she’s doing ANOTHER FREE WEBINAR tonight at 9 pm EST called Get Noticed Now! I am so excited for this because Helene really know what she’s talking about and her first free webinar was so much fun and I learned a ton (as I’ve said like 3 times now)!

Other people/things:
I learned that September is Alopecia awareness month thanks to Laura Jean! I learned how to make a fall burlap wreath.

I also learned that the best time to go grocery shopping on the weekend (just in case you can’t go during the week) is during Ohio State football games. That place was deserted! Just make sure you don’t accidentally go during half time. That’s when everyone rushes to the store. Oh and NEVER go grocery shopping when you’re hungry. I “learned” that one a long time ago but for some reason I can’t ever remember it.

What did you learn this month?
Thanks for reading!
