Well, Friends… It’s December 31st. The last day of 2015. Let’s just let that sink in for a sec. Where did this year go? I mean, this year was a great one, but I just can’t believe it’s over. But I’m super excited to start a new year tomorrow! Are you? I sure hope so. But I hope it’s because you just need to be refreshed. I hope it’s not because 2015 was a bad year for you.

Anyway, it’s been a tradition of mine for the last 3 years to do a sort of recap of the year on December 31st. Here is last year’s recap. Here’s the recap from 2013. And here is one from 2012.

So let’s get started on this year’s recap!

Favorite Events (In chronological order)

• My birthday, Valentine’s day, and Pearson’s birthday were all fun though sort of low-key.
• We went to Valdosta in April for Pearson’s cousin’s wedding.
• We saw my brother and cousin graduate from Harding University.
• We bought our Nissan Versa on Memorial Day Weekend.
• The Music Man!!!
• My In-Laws came to visit.
• I spent a weekend in Memphis with my BFF just for fun.
• My parents came to visit.
• We took our annual trip to Hocking Hills with 3 other young married couples and a baby girl (with 2 more on the way).
• I taught 9th and 10th grade girls at a youth rally.
• We took a Thanksgiving Vacation in Valdosta, Georgia to see all of Pearson’s extended family.
• For our Christmas vacation we went to Birmingham to see my brother, Atlanta to see both of our immediate family and my extended family on my dad’s side, and Arkansas to see my extended family on my mom’s side.
• My best friend from college (the same girl from #6 above) and her husband are here for our annual New Year tradition.
