5 Ways Couple Friends Help Strengthen Your Relationship (#LoveBlog2017 – Linkup & Giveaway)

Happy Valentine’s Day!!! I’m hosting #LoveBlog2017 again today. The prompt is “Friendship.” Head over to Brita’s introduction post to see the prompts for every week day for the rest of this month!

If you’re a couple, it’s important to have couple friends. I’m not saying it’s wrong to have separate friends or to be friends with single people, by any means. I’m just saying couple friends can be very beneficial and here’s why…

ONE || You have similar life experiences.

Isn’t it great to have friends that you have a lot in common with. I love my single friends, but there’s just a bond that I have with married friends, you know? We have similar lifestyles. We have similar experiences. We can help each other through tough times.

TWO || You can learn from each other.

Sometimes your couple friends are “ahead of you” in life and they can offer advice. Sometimes you can even learn from their mistakes. Yes, this is also true of single friends to an extent. But going back to number one, you have similar experiences with couple friends.

THREE || You can go on double dates.

This is a major bonus, am I right??

FOUR || You have even teams for games.

Another little plus!

FIVE || Group trips are easier.

If you rent a cabin together you won’t have any weird room situations.

So what do you think? Did I miss any perks?
Thanks for reading! Link up any posts about friendship below!
