Monthly Goals December {2017}

Monthly Goals December {2017}

Wow guys. I only posted 3 times in November! That’s the lowest month I’ve had since 2012, before I actually took this blog seriously (Except for the hiatus I took on purpose last November). This month I posted my monthly goals, a sponsored post about quality time with your spouse, and a huge post about our favorite dates in Ohio (which I’m really proud of). And that’s it!

The rest of my goals fell by the wayside too. But I’m not too worried about it. November was an exciting and eventful month. December and January will be more of the same so I’m severely cutting back on my goals. But let’s take a look anyway!

November

Word of the Year (confidence):

  • Meet at least 50% of my other goals
  • Post a video on Instagram Stories every day (This helps my confidence because it forces me to be vulnerable and put myself out there despite my lack of self confidence) – I would have done better if it weren’t for only having one car and for Thanksgiving vacation

Spiritual:

Physical:

  • Do some kind of exercise at least 3X per week
  • Only eat out on weekends

Mental:

Marriage:

  • Work through Sheila’s Boost Your Libido eCourse
  • Go on one date per week.
  • Support Pearson through his thesis defense
  • Eat at at least half of the remaining restaurants on our list of restaurants we want to try before we move.

Blog:

  • Post at least one good-quality, content-based blog post (lists, roundups, and sponsored posts don’t count) every week
  • Work through Instagram Monetization Guide from The Social Media Posse
  • Submit my content for The Dating Divas’ Spring Bundle

Home:

  • Light at least one candle every day to make it feel cozy

30×30:

  • Do a French lesson on DuoLingo 3X per week

Preparing for graduation/vacation/move:

  • Book our Disney Trip
  • Contact people we will be visiting on our road trip
  • Replace the batteries in both of our key fobs
  • Acquire more boxes for packing
  • Some other things on our to-do lists that I don’t want to disclose here
Wow. I accomplished six out of twenty-two goals. I don’t think I’ve ever done that poorly. But I’m giving myself grace because of everything we’re doing in getting ready for graduation, the holidays, our Orlando vacation, and our BIG MOVE! So this month my goals will be minimal.

December:

Word of the Year (confidence):

  • Meet at least 50% of my other goals
  • Post a video on Instagram Stories every day (This helps my confidence because it forces me to be vulnerable and put myself out there despite my lack of self confidence)

Spiritual:

Physical:

  • Only eat out on weekends

Mental:

Marriage:

  • Go on one date per week.
  • Eat at at least half of the remaining restaurants on our list of restaurants we want to try before we move.
  • Get all my graduation gifts and such ready and then surprise Pearson with them
  • Plan and execute graduation weekend

Blog:

  • Keep up with a semi-regular social media schedule

Home:

  • PACK

30×30:

  • Do a French lesson on DuoLingo once per week

Preparing for graduation/vacation/move:

  • Finish shopping for and wrapping Christmas presents
  • Finish shopping for everything we need for trip
  • Pack (Also above)
  • Finish checking off our to-do list
Alright so those are my goals. I’m feeling pretty good about them.
