Monthly Goals for March {2018}

Monthly Goals for March {2018}

Happy March you guys! I am so excited for this month because in some weird ways, it feels like the first real month of the year for me. Pearson and I spent January traveling to Disney World and then across the country to Portland. Then we spent February getting settled in, learning our new area, and adjusting to life.

So anyway, as I said last month, my word of the year is reset. So with that in mind, I’ve sort of set all my goals for this month with that thought that I am starting over, resetting, and going back to the basics. So lets get to it, shall we?

Resetting in March:

Spiritual:

  • Read the book of Mark. I saw something on Ash Wednesday that suggested reading the book of Mark through three times for Lent. I want to try reading it through at least twice this month. I thought about doing some devotional or reading a great Christian book, but decided to go back to the basics and read straight from the Bible.

Physical:

  • Stick to the Keto Diet with Pearson. We will be starting this month with the basics of the diet.
  • Work out 3X per week whether it’s a hike or long walk, going to the gym, or doing a YouTube pilates video. I’m going back to the basics of working out and doing what I feel my body needs that day rather than following a specific routine.

Mental:

Marriage:

  • I’m going to be very basic here and set the goal of not treating Pearson like a child. I’ve gotten back into the bad habit of doing things for him and telling him how to do things. Why do we wives always seem to do this?
  • I’m also setting the basic goal that I set pretty much every month of going on at least one intentional date per week!

Blog:

  • I’m setting a very basic goal to post twice per week!

Home:

  • Clean at least 10 minutes per day. I’m gonna set a timer and see how much I can get clean.
  • Finish decorating and setting up everything. We’re almost done but there are a few more decorations I want to buy.
Alright so those are my goals. I’m feeling pretty good about them. I’m excited to go back to the basics this month!
