What I’m Reading {March 2018}

Well guys, here we are. Another month, another What I’m Reading post. And once again, I only finished one book. And I actually finished that one book in February. Anyway, let’s move on to that one review, shall we?

The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith

As I said in my last book post, it took me forever to read the first Cormoran Strike book. But I read this one in about 1.5 weeks. And that’s good for me!

I’m not gonna lie, these aren’t the greatest murder mystery novels. I mean this one kept my attention pretty well, but at times it just seemed too long. There was just too much. Does that make sense? Like JKR is trying too hard to cram a bunch of stuff into one book. It was hard to keep all characters, suspects, and conversations straight.

I didn’t guess the ending even though I tried and tried to guess the craziest possibility. It was pretty surprising and of course made perfect sense after it was revealed.

Overall, this one was better than the last, but I think that might just be because I was dying to know who could have done such a crazy, violent murder! Yes, all murders are violent, but you’ll see what I mean if you read it. It was gruesome.

I am currently still reading the third book in the series, Career of Evil. And I hope to finish that one before the next What I’m Reading post as well as, Staying Stylish by Candace Cameron Bure and maybe a couple others.

What have you read this month? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for reading!
