Thankful Thursday Party – September

Thankful Thursday Party – September

It’s time for the monthly #ThankfulThursdayParty link up! Today for Thankful Thursday I am thankful for my Church Family. What a blessing! God’s family is the best. Of course we have our problems, like any family. And we don’t always get along, like most brothers and sisters, but the family is wonderful. And the family is global. I know anywhere I go, I can find brothers and sisters who will treat me like, well like a sister.

Just last week I was in Atlanta for work and I went to a gospel meeting at the church I grew up attending. Not only was the speaker amazing and inspiring, but the fellowship was so encouraging! That congregation is made up of people who are so dear to my heart. I thank God all the time for putting these people in my life. I thank God for the institution of the church that He established. Jesus knew what he was doing when he said not to forsake the assembly. And those first century Christians knew what’s up at the end of Acts 2 when they fellowshipped and had all things in common.

Y’all there ain’t much better than fellowshipping with the saints. And there’s not a better feeling than knowing you have family anywhere you go and there are people who love you and are praying for you that don’t even know you.
