Thankful Thursday: Thanksgiving Festivities

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!

I hope you’re all enjoying lots of yummy food and time with your family. I know I sure am. I’m in Valdosta, Georgia with all of Pearson’s extended family. It’s a mad house but I love it!
All of Pearson’s extended family at Christmas last year
Speaking of Pearson’s extended family, I’m thankful for them. I’m thankful that they’ve welcomed my into the family. I’m thankful that they helped shape my husband and best friend into the man I fell in love with and get to spend forever with. I’m thankful they welcome us with open arms and lots of food on holidays even though we cane from way up north and couldn’t bring anything to eat.
Speaking of driving really far from way up north, I’m thankful for our car and our financial means to be able to travel. You guys, it gets lonely way up north away from all of our family. I miss them all terribly. So I’m thankful we’re able to come visit for the holidays.
Speaking of holidays, I’m thankful for good food. Y’all, there’s nothing better than a good thanksgiving feast, am I right? Especially when a lot of it was made by you grandma-in-law and your mother-in-law and your aunts-in-law and all you have to do is enjoy it. I helped as much as I could, but I wasn’t responsible for anything. And I’ll help clean up before plopping on the couch to watch some great football for the rest of the weekend.
Speaking of football, I am thankful for football. I’m thankful to have something to follow and get excited over. I’m thankful that it can bring family together even if they’re rivals. It’s all in good fun, right? I’m thankful that my family instilled a love of football in my and that I can now share that with my husband and his extended family.
So what are you thankful for on this Thanksgiving? Link up below
Thanks for reading!

P.S. I normally host this link up on the last Thursday of the month. However I will not be hosting in December because we will all be busy with Christmas and New Years and I thought it was time for a break. It will be back in January!
